BIRKENSTOCK opened its fifth company-owned retail store in the United States in December 2023. Situated in the Miami Design District, BIRKENSTOCK brings a lush, natural oasis into urban South Florida, captivating shoppers with its distinctive atmosphere.

Travertine stone floors and concrete planters blend with signature brand materials including cork and leather, beneath a sprawling living plant wall celebrating South Florida’s local flora. Light-filled perimeter coves wrapped around the floating ceiling, creating an illusion of seamless transition between interior and exterior. Flexible display niches showcase local artist installations or Birkenstock products, effortlessly drawing the attention of passersby from across the street.

The ambiance is bright and naturally comfortable, evoking an elevated, contemporary coastal vibe. Every detail - from a custom metal chandelier mirroring the iconic Birkenstock shoe soles to the tailored millwork and the cozy try-on lounges - invites a sense of luxury and relaxation.
